This Introduction course is for complete beginners or for those who are self taught but would like to use SketchUp Pro professionally. This course is great for those in architecture, interior design, engineering, construction, kitchen and bath design.

This training course focuses on topics that will be most applicable to users wanting to get the best results from the software in a professional environment, learning incredibly useful skills such as drawing, editing layers, shadow effects, using material libraries and more.

We will be completing this training on Microsoft PCs, but we can certainly offer advice on how to use the software with Apple Macs.

Here are some examples of SketchUp Pro in use. Please click on the screenshot images to enlarge.

This course will start at 10am and run until 4:00pm.

You will learn about:

Drawing and editing tools
Making selections, using groups or components and the correct use of the move tool
Measurements, precision and guides
Creating sections and modifying styles
Import the users materials and 2D drawings (dwg format)
Shadow and location tools
Using Layers
Printing and exporting
Creating style, material and component libraries

The course will run with a maximum of 6-8 attendees, no previous SketchUp experience is necessary but a basic knowledge of using Microsoft Windows computers will be required. All training equipment will be provided on the day including computers and software.
